Spirits of Dread is a Spirit Board event focused on spirits from Metroid Dread. It will run from 6 a.m. on October 8, 2021 to 6 a.m. on October 13 (UTC). During the event, defeating spirits on the Spirit Board which are part of the event will award more SP than usual.

Trivia
- This is the first Spirit Board event based on a specific game since Second Anniversary of OCTOPATH TRAVELER to have a unique English title, although this only applies to the North American name. Although the Eastern languages (Japan, Chinese, and Korean) have the same title as the game, there are phrases added as well, similar to the spirit board events based on specific games starting with Paper Mario: The Origami King.
