Temple: Hermès Edition is an ongoing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate supermajor held in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, France, from September 1st-5th, 2021. With over 800 entrants, it is the largest Smash tournament in France and the second-largest Smash tournament in Europe. Although several top players from outside of Europe were confirmed to go, a few of them, including MkLeo, Maister, and Zackray, dropped out due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1][2]

The tournament was initially set to take place from May 29th-30th, but was postponed due to the aforementioned pandemic. In addition, a doubles event was planned, but was cancelled halfway through the bracket after the tournament fell behind schedule.

The tournament was criticized for having a small venue, leading several players to complain, and subsequently joke, about the smell.[3]
