| The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
| When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

You appear to be conflating "the best player of all time for x character" with "the best player of 2018 for x character", which are not equivalent. For example, BestNess overall had very solid results throughout 2018 and beat multiple top players, while FOW only attended one major and didn't do particularly well at it. Please don't do this, since the distinction has been made clear already. (BestNess's entry said he was "currently the best", along with others.) PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 16:56, June 5, 2019 (EDT)
Champions
Please do not add champions to PGR pages. Not only does it bloat the already-bloated pages, but it's also unnecessary, since all the tournament results can be seen by simply clicking the tournament page. Cookies
