The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

SmashWiki has added a new "Retired characters" parameter to our smasher infoboxes for each game, and is making an active effort to cut down the "Other characters" bloat in these infoboxes, refer to this forum for farther details on this issue and what is acceptable to include in these entries.
Per this recently passed proposal, online tournament results on smasher articles are to be marked with the {{OnlineIcon}} template. the icon should be placed after the tournament name.
An icon used in notice templates. NOTE: This year for April Fools' Day, we are going to do something a little different. Instead of opening the wiki to the usual free-for-all vandalism, this year we are going to require users to submit their pranks to the wiki to an administrator beforehand. This will both keep a lid on lame, uninspired jokes, and also help us to enforce accountability (and accuracy) when it comes time to clean up.
  • We will be accepting submissions between now and around the time we start to clean up.
  • You may submit your pranks to us via our talk pages, or if you'd rather it be a surprise to everyone else, you may Discord DM us.
  • To be accepted, a prank must have a certain degree of effort put in, and a dash of humor wouldn't hurt either.
  • April Fools' Day starts on April 1st, 00:00 UTC (March 31st 8pm EDT, 5pm PDT) and ends 24 hours later, however we most likely will begin cleanup a few hours earlier than that.
  • During April Fools', editing permissions will be restricted to the Established usergroup. If your account is less than 90 days old, or you haven't made at least 100 edits to SmashWiki, you will not be allowed to participate.
  • And remember to have fun!
