Taiheita (たいへいた) is an SSB4 Lucas player from Japan, and was widely considered to be the best Lucas player in the world before his retirement on March 24th, 2018. Taiheita finished as the best Lucas main the world of all time in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, being the only Lucas player in the PGR 100. He has taken sets off of top players such as Abadango, Marss, Ranai, 9B, Kameme, T, Earth, Manny, Edge, and ikep. He was also one of the best Lucas mains in the world in SSBB, being the only Lucas main to place in the Top 16 at Sumabato X Final. In addition to his Lucas mastery, he is widely known for his calculated and resourceful teamwork in doubles with Gomamugitya in SSBB and SSB4. The pair was most known for their two wins over ZeRo and Nairo (who both would finish as the Top 2 players in the world of all time from the PGR 100) at Super Smash Con 2016, placing 1st out of 284 teams as well.
Taiheita came back out of retirement on October 31st, 2019, where he released a tweet that he is ready to compete again in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate after focusing on school.[1]
