The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Mew

Mew (Japanese: ミュウ, Myū) is a Pokémon that appears out of a Poké Ball.

Appearance

In the Smash Brothers series, Mew takes the appearance of a cat. It's whole body is pink and it has a long pink tail. Mew also has big blue and black eyes. Mew travels in a bubble in both of the Smash Brothers games. Sparkles come out of the bubble of Mew while it moves around.

Role

Mew makes its first appearance in Super Smash Brothers. Mew uses Teleport as it's attack. Mew will remain on the screen for a few seconds then fly off. Mew can be completely unnoticed when it comes out of a Poké Ball. Mew would then make an appearance again in Super Smash Brothers Melee. Mewuses Teleport as it's attack again. Mew will appear on the screen for a few seconds and say "Mew" then flies off. No character is harmed by Mew's attack in either of these games. In both Super Smash Brothers and Melee, Mew appearance is rare is a legendary Pokémon. The chances of Mew appearing is doubled in Event 37: Legendary Pokémon. The summoner of Mew is awarded the Mew Catcher bonus and 10,000 points. Mew can only be seen if all characters all unlocked. This makes Mew one of only two unlockable Pokémon, the other being Celebi.
