Metroid Mania (メトロイド オモロイド), formatted as Metroidmania in PAL regions, was a Spirit Board event focused on Spirits from the Metroid series. It ran from 12 p.m. on June 28, 2019 to 12 p.m. on July 1, 2019 (UTC). During the event, defeating Spirits on the Spirit Board which were part of the event was supposed to award more SP than usual. For unknown reasons, some players were awarded additional Gold instead. Notably, the previous 2 spirit board events awarded additional Gold, suggesting that it may have been a rollover bug.

Description

North America

Spirits from the Metroid series have infested the Spirit Board! Defeat them to receive more Spirit Points than usual.

Legend-class spirits Queen Metroid and Omega Ridley, and Ace-class spirit Metroid will each appear for a fixed time. Happy hunting!

PAL regions

Check your Spirit Board, because Metroid characters are coming out of the walls in this event! Defeat them in battle to gain more Spirit Points than usual.
