The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Kongo Jungle
Congo Jungle is a stage in Super Smash Bros.. It is Donkey Kong's home stage. Congo Jungle is also known as Past Stages: Kongo Jungle in Super Smash Bros. Melee and is one of the three past stages you can unlock. To unlock this stage, you must beat the 15-minute melee.
Congo Jungle
This stage appears as a starter stage in SSB. This stage is made up of a big platform with a couple of small platforms on it. The top left and right sides of the stage are small and can be used to battle on. In the middle of the stage there are two platforms that move in a clockwise motion. Under the stage there is a barrel cannon that is similar to the one in SSBM stage Kongo Jungle. If you manage to get into the barrel, make sure the arrow on the barrel is pointing up. If you stay in it too long, the barrel will shoot you in the direction the arrow is pointing. This stage is a legal stage in SSB.
Past Stages: Kongo Jungle
The Congo Jungle Stage is reused in Melee as an unlockable stage under this name. It is a non-neutral legal stage in SSBM.
Character strengths/weaknesses (SSB original)
- Ness has very easy use of the barrel below and can go below the stage, good stage
- Kirby is normal though better recovery
- Yoshi for recovery bad stage (very hard to sweet spot, barrel is very vulnerable but attacking it is very easy due to the platforms
- Captain Falcon's normal (though easier to spike and easy to kill on sides)
- DK is somewhat stronger (Home Turf, easier to up b spike/spike)
- Link is stronger (use the barell to increase his horrible recovery)
- Mario is normal
- Luigi is weaker due to high ceiling
- Jigglypuff is stronger (recover easier, easy to kill on sides)
- Samus is normal
