Nerf

Nerfed is a term to describe the weakening of certain attacks of veteran characters when making a sequel, to make it more fair for the other fighters. It helps make a more balanced roster.

For example: From SSBM to SSBB, Peach's forward throw and down smash have been weakened, and she cannot double-jump cancel anymore.
