Rymo is a retired Melee Fox and Sheik main from Huntington Beach, California. He was previously ranked 19th on the NorCal Power Rankings. He has taken sets off of Spark, MacD, Azel, NMW, HomeMadeWaffles, Lucky and Nut. Prior to his retirement, and following Spark's departure from Santa Cruz, Rymo dominated Santa Cruz's Melee scene for a year. Rymo began to experience issues with his wrist, and after a brief stint using the Smash Boxx, Ryan decided to retire from professional Melee.

Trivia
- Rymo is known for his characteristic "Rymo Up-Smash", which is the backwards hitbox of Fox up-smash, and "Rymo Down-tilt", which is the use of Fox's down-tilt in order to extend combos.
- Rymo is a graduate student studying microbiology and environmental toxicology at UC Santa Cruz.
- Along with being a pro-melee player, Rymo reached Master tier in Overwatch as a Zenyatta main.
- Popular nicknames for Rymo include: Trymo, Grimo, Primo, and Dadmo.
