Talk:All-Star Mode
Chronological Order
It seems that the All-Star Order in Brawl Seems to be going in the Chronological order of the series that the characters were released. If there is any confirmation on this, we could add it.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Chrono D. (talk • contribs)

- First, sign your comments. Second, Sakurai confirmed this a long time ago (around April) here. And third, the order is for the Japanese releases; at least that's what Sakurai says. MarioGalaxyTalk 05:48, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

WarioWare
Just so you know, on the official website of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Sakurai stated that Wario's appearance in All-Star mode is based on his first main appearance in Wario Land 3. I think that should be stated.--Ma321 (talk) 11:49, 1 August 2014 (EDT)
New All-Star Mode
Since Sakurai has confirmed that Smash 3DS would feature in chronological order of their first appearance, we could actually try to "predict" the final results of this and then edit it if it is disconfirmed in the final product. I'll try my hand at the beginning of it, though : (My version also uses the characters from previous Smash games, just in case)

- I doubt we'll be allowed to add it until there's official confirmation. Sometimes there are errors like that... ...a new Nuttais approaching... 12:39, 2 September 2014 (EDT)
Stages in the 3DS All-Star Mode
I've been watching every video I can find of All-Star Mode playthroughs, and I've put together a list of which stages I've seen.
- Stage 1 - Jungle Japes, Boxing Ring, Flat Zone 2 (I've also been told that Pac-Maze appears, but I haven't seen it myself)
- Stage 2 - Golden Plains, Mushroomy Kingdom, Gerudo Valley, Brinstar
- Stage 3 - Yoshi's Island, Mute City, Reset Bomb Forest, Wily Castle
- Stage 4 - Dream Land, Corneria, WarioWare, Inc., Green Hill Zone
- Stage 5 - Spirit Train, Unova Pokemon League, Magicant
- Stage 6 - 3D Land, Distant Planet, Tortimer Island
- Stage 7 - Rainbow Road, Prism Tower, Arena Ferox, Gaur Plain
Has anyone seen any others and can we add these to the page? 68.9.236.113 02:21, 18 September 2014 (EDT)
Little Mac always a wireframe?
In every video I've seen so far Little Mac has been a wire frame when challenging All Star mode. Can anyone confirm? Guybrush20X6 (talk) 19:25, 21 September 2014 (EDT)

Exclusive stage modifications
So I've noticed that there are some stages that behave differently only in All-Star Mode in SSB4-3DS, different to both the standard and Omega forms (even with items off). There are probably more, but here's what I've noticed:
- In WarioWare, Inc., microgames never occur.
- In Green Hill Zone, checkpoint lampposts never appear.
- On Tortimer Island, fruits do not grow.
- On Magicant, Flying Men do not appear.

- Oh, and apparently Magicant and WarioWare, Inc. also have this behavior when unlocking a character (the other two aren't used when unlocking characters). --SnorlaxMonster 01:56, 10 November 2014 (EST)
- From what I've seen the Duck Hunt Stage in WiiU acts the same with the ducks and shooting removed when unlocking the character. Guybrush20X6 (talk) 07:01, 10 November 2014 (EST)
Wii U Version Image
I noticed in the things to do that this page needs a image showing the wii u version of the rest area.... i found one but since im so new i cant add it unfortunately. Would someone be so kind as to insert it for me? click the [1] to see image --Riddleguy (talk) 20:47, 3 November 2014 (EST)
- Done.
Swap
Is there a way we can make it so you can filp the grid and cause the levels to flip for wii u version order?Ma321 (talk) 09:43, 10 November 2014 (EST)
- I think that should do the trick. Miles (talk) 09:57, 10 November 2014 (EST)
Assist Trophies
So, by finding the Japanese direct, I noticed that Sakurai himself also mentions the Assist Trophies figuring in to All-Star. In spite of knowing little Japanese, my assumption based on this is that it was a cut feature, but I want to hear what the direct translation is from someone who happens to speak the language. Anyone here who fits in that category? Aidan, the Thankful Dragon Warrior 16:53, 13 November 2016 (EST)
- While I'm not a Japanese-speaker, I believe the confusion stems from "all-star" as a general term versus "All-Star" as the name of a mode. Sakurai saying something to the effect of "Assist Figures are part of the all-stars in the game" could easily be mistaken for "Assist Trophies are part of the All-Star Mode". Damage multipliers
Here I have the damage multipliers for each stage in All-Star-Mode for the Wii U, but I'm not sure how to put it into the page, and which formatting to use. Any ideas?
Stage | Damage Multiplier |
---|---|
1 | 2.6x |
2 | 2.6x |
3 | 2.655x |
4 | 2.8x |
5 | 2.4x |
6 | 2.8x |
7 | 2.8x |
Stage | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Damage Multiplier | 2.6x | 2.6x | 2.655x | 2.8x | 2.4x | 2.8x | 2.8x |

Banjo and Kazooie's separate debut dates
Once Banjo and Kazooie are released, do we have to put in separate Japanese debut dates for the duo? Like Banjo debuted before Kazooie. Juju1995 (talk) 13:21, August 3, 2019 (EDT)
