Players invited

The following 11 players were invited by Beyond The Summit:

Players voted in

The voting system received some minor changes. First, if a person votes for a player who gets eliminated, they will receive half of their votes back, and the votes can be used for other players until the voting ends. Also, the final two players who get eliminated have the choice of either taking a portion of the raised funds that they would have gotten, or be flown out to the tournament, where they can participate in activities and practice.

Trivia

  • This is the first Summit won by a non-God, as well as the first won by a solo Pikachu.
  • This is Axe's first major tournament win with two or more members of the MPGR top 6 + PPMD in attendance, and this is also the first time a Pikachu main won under the same circumstances.
  • This is the first Smash Summit where Mew2King and SFAT did not attend, as Mew2King declined his invitation and SFAT qualified at Smash 'N' Splash 5 but declined due to a wedding[1].
    • This is also S2J's first Smash Summit where he was invited rather than voted in.
  • This is currently the Smash Summit with the most international attendance, with six non-U.S. players competing, either through invitation, qualifying, or being voted in.
  • This is the first ever tournament that at least two of the five gods have attended where none of them placed Top 4 (even including locals).
