The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Protagonist (Persona 4) is the main protagonist of Persona 4. Although the player can name him in that game, in the media following Persona 4, he has the official name Yu Narukami.

Origin

The protagonist is a high school student staying in the small, rural town of Inaba in the Dojima residence, as his own parents are working abroad. As he makes friends and studies, various unexplained murders occur in the small town, and a mysterious TV channel switches on every foggy midnight, called the Midnight Channel. The protagonist and his high school friends can enter televisions to explore the mysterious Midnight Channel, also called TV World, and slay monsters called Shadows, which represent people's darkest secrets.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

A DLC costume for Mii Swordfighter based on the Protagonist is available for purchase in Ultimate. It even changes the sword trails to yellow, hearkening back to the aesthetics of Persona 4.

Trivia

  • The Protagonist previously appeared in the fighting games Persona 4 Arena and BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle.
