Nyx, otherwise known as NyxTheShield, is a Chilean professional smasher who mains Mr. Game & Watch in Project M. He is considered to be the best Project M player in Chile.
Nyx gained notoriety after he successfully created a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate mod to have Melee-style wavedash and reduced landing lag, which he eventually dubbed Project NX.[1] This garnered controversy within the Smash community, with many divided over the issue on whether or not modding Ultimate to act like Melee would serve justice.
Besides Smash, Nyx is well known for composing music and posting them on his YouTube channel.
