World of Light (灯火の星, The Star of Light) is the third Adventure Mode in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It revolves around the fighters teaming up with Spirits to defeat an "ultimate enemy" named Galeem. The mode will feature characters from various series, as well as bosses from previous Smash games, such as Galleom from The Subspace Emissary.
Trivia
- The inverse of World of Light's Japanese name can be read as 星のカービィ (Kirby of the Stars), the Japanese name of the Kirby series.
- Coincidentally, Kirby is the only one who survived Galeem's fatal attack, making him the starting playable character in this mode.
- This mode has voice acting, being the first Adventure Mode to feature this.
