- At The Big House 8, Cosmos, ESAM, and Tweek take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U singles; Hungrybox, Plup, and Mango take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Melee singles; SuPeRbOoMfAn, Josh Brody, and EG take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Smash 64 singles. Elegant & BestNess take Super Smash Bros. for Wii U doubles; PewPewU & SFAT take Melee doubles; Shears & Josh Brody take Smash 64 doubles.

- In the Nintendo Direct, Isabelle was revealed as a playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Additionally a Nintendo Switch bundle including a digital copy of the game, and a Smash-themed pair of Joy-Cons and console dock was announced for November 2nd.

CaptainZack & Ally take Super Smash Bros. for Wii U doubles; La Luna & DJ Nintendo take Melee doubles.
