Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4

Aesthetics

  • Change With every move, Mr. Game & Watch's model now matches the character as it appears in the game the move is based on.
  • Change Judge's numbers now appear in a jumble, before settling on the decided number.

Grabs and Throws

  • Change When a character is in one of Mr. Game & Watch's throws, they will turn into their respective stock icon for the duration.

Special moves

  • Change Octopus now grabs opponents and drags them offscreen. While this does increase its KO potential, it does reduce its range.

  • During the official Ultimate website's launch on June 12th, 2018, Mr. Game & Watch's name was erroneously labeled as "Mr. Game and Watach" exclusively on the mobile variant of his fighter page.
