R.O.B. (ロボット, Robot) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He was confirmed as a playable character on June 12th, 2018.
Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4
Aesthetics
As with all veterans returning from SSB4, R.O.B.'s model features a more subdued color scheme. His body has a duller matte finish, and his eyes are less reflective. Altogether, he more closely resembles the original peripheral.- R.O.B. now has a gauge on his chassis that shows how much fuel he has left for Robo Burner.
Aerial attacks
Neutral aerial has more range.
Throws/other attacks
- R.O.B. has a new forward throw where he takes his right hand back and throws them.
- R.O.B.'s down throw now buries opponents, allowing for more grounded follow ups at the cost of aerial follow ups.
