The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Mewtwo (SSBU)

Mewtwo (ミュウツー, Mewtwo) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It was confirmed on June 12th, 2018.

Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4

Aesthetics

  • Change Some of Mewtwo's attacks have been updated with new particle effects, including every attack that previously had the Darkness effect like his smash attacks and special moves.
  • Change Forward tilt has a new animation where Mewtwo spins horizontally to strike with its tail.

Ground moves

  • Buff Forward tilt has more horizontal reach and deals more knockback.
  • Nerf Forward tilt has more startup lag.
  • Buff Up smash's effect area has been enlarged.

Special Moves

  • Buff Confusion now allows Mewtwo to act before captured opponents can, allowing for combos.
  • Nerf Confusion is performed slower, making it more punishable.
  • Change Disable has a different animation, with Mewtwo spreading its arms out while flashing its eyes.
