KTAR XVII was a Super Smash Bros. for Wii U regional and Super Smash Bros. Melee local tournament held by Keitaro in Somerset, New Jersey on February 13th, 2016. It was the seventeenth tournament of the KTAR tournament series. This tournament is notable for Nairo and Dabuz's poor placings, finishing at 17th and 13th respectively. However, both played Bayonetta, who had recently been released (although it should be noted that Nairo lost to Salem in winners using a combination of both his usual Zero Suit Samus and Bayonetta).
