WhyEdit
How about an explanation as to WHY pivoting is done? -- Gdogg
- As said in the article, so you can use tilts, smashes and grabs during a dash. - ElbridgeGerry 21:57, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Pivoting in SSB4Edit
If you hit the circle pad in the opposite direction whilst running and press A, you can use ftilts and fsmashes in the opposite direction. This also works with item tosses. It's pretty neat, how should it be mentioned on the article? Scr7 (talk · contribs) 11:22, 21 September 2014 (EDT)
Perfect PivotingEdit
If this is what we consider "perfect pivoting" then this should be expanded for not only Smash 4 but for Brawl, as it is present in Brawl. Should I redirect "Perfect Pivoting" to this article? LightningBlue 11:22, 13 October 2015 (EDT)
Perfect Pivot Lengths... on Windy Hill Zone?Edit
The Windy Hill Zone measurements should not be used. Its grass covered platform actually increases traction and therefore slightly reduces the effectiveness of perfect pivoting. Thus, its full extent is not displayed on the chart presented. We're either going to need a more creative method, or wait for someone like Smash Highlights to make a video about it. Correctness?Edit
The Pivoting#How_to_perform section seems wrong. According to PewPewU's video linked in the Resources section, in actuality, there is one frame of standing during a dash dance during which any standing action can be taken. Is this a difference between games, User:The Other Jared? This section is almost describing how to perform a "perfect pivot" specifically except it doesn't mention that the backward control stick input can only last for one frame and must return to neutral.
