The Ultimate Battle is a co-op event match in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Both players must choose a character and take on all playable fighters (except Mii Fighters) in the game. The order of the characters go from all unlockable characters in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, next, the starting newcomers, then the starting Brawl veterans, the starting Melee veterans, and finally the starting Smash 64 veterans which includes the "Original 8" characters in reverse order.
