Mewtwo is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4. It is the second cut veteran to return for Super Smash Bros 4 after Dr. Mario. It will be available as a downloadable fighter in Spring 2015, free to those who bought both versions. Mewtwo was confirmed to be a playable character during the Nintendo Direct on October 23, 2014. Its developmental graphic design was shown for both the Wii U and 3DS versions. Its release announcement can be seen at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vl06hD8InFc.
