Become the Champion! is the fifth Event Match in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In this you play as Pokémon Trainer and must defeat another Pokémon Trainer in a 3 stock battle to become Pokémon Champion!
Strategies
As Charizard, stand on one of the platforms. Hit your opponent with a loaded Up-Smash, jump to them and use Fly. This should always be a KO. The opponent is easy to launch, so this is a fairly easy battle. His other smashes are good alternatives as well.
If you have trouble with Charizard (due to his lack in speed), use Ivysaur instead. His combination of power and speed with keep the CPU on their toes; a strategy for him involves grabbing your opponent near an edge, throw them off the arena, and quickly charge an up-smash attack. When your opponent comes back, he'll meet up with your up-smash. If they have a high damage %, they'll almost always be KO'ed. Spiking them before they make it back will also serve as a good KO stragety.
