• DarkGenex was previously a notable Roblox player.
• DarkGenex is known for his proficiency with Giga Bowser in Melee, having entered two netplay tournaments with the character and taken games off of MPGR-ranked players in friendlies. As such, it is joked (albeit with credibility) that he is the best Giga Bowser player in the world.
• DarkGenex is one of the best North American players in Korean MOBA Eternal Return, and will regularly wear the "BARB" tag in reference to his main, Barbara.
• DarkGenex is highly regarded as an effective Smash Summit campaign manager, coordinating the successful vote-ins of Magi for Smash Summit 12, himself for Smash Summit 13, and Jflex for Smash Summit 14.
