ZAKI (ざき) is an Ultimate King Dedede main from Japan and was considered the best King Dedede player in the world when he was active. With Dedede, he has wins over Kome, kameme, Umeki, Elegant, Kaninabe, HIKARU, Atelier, and Rarukun. ZAKI is ranked 38th on the Experimental Smash Player Rankings and 130th on the OrionRank 2022; he was also formerly ranked 39th on the discontinued Japan Player Rankings.
In Smash 4, ZAKI was also considered as the best King Dedede player in the world. He was ranked 43rd on the JAPAN Power Rankings. His most infamous exploit was to beat MkLeo, the best player in the world at 2GG: Hyrule Saga, sending him in Losers Bracket. This upset caused an immense traction as Leo used Cloud, the second-best character in the game and ZAKI used King Dedede, a bottom tier character. Despite using a very limited character, ZAKI achieved impressive results such as 17th at 2GG: Hyrule Saga, but also 17th at Smash 'N' Splash 4, Sumabato Smash 4 Final, Umebura Smash 4 Final and 33rd at MomoCon 2018. Those placings are also impressive by the fact that he never used secondaries and unlike other King Dedede specialists such as Big D or El Bardo, he never dropped or co-mained the character. Apart of his upset against MkLeo, ZAKI has wins over top players such as Charlie, Rags, Ri-ma, Chanshu, FILIP, and Nasubi.
