Ikan is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Ryu player from Northern California who moved to Chicago and studied in France in the summer of 2023. He is considered the best Ryu player in the United States. He is currently ranked 105th on the LumiRank 2023 and was formally ranked 1st on the Chicago Ultimate Power Rankings and 38th on the PGRU v3 NA. He has defeated players such as Bloom4Eva, Cosmos, ESAM, Anathema, Jakal, Kurama, Luugi, and Ned.

Trivia

• Ikan would get 33rd at his first Chicago event, Backthrow 150, losing to Blucas and Mewmon. He has missed top 16 only twice since then.
• For Glitch - Infinite, Ikan was the first player to be fully funded through the compendium.
• Ikan is known for not having a Twitter account; however, every tournament he wins is flooded with "Ikan." from the Chicago community to compensate.
• Ikan is the second Chicago player other than Ned to be ranked #1, the first being ATATA.
• When AndresFn and Vendetta were playing for the title of "best shoto" player in the world, Ikan placed 9th at GENESIS 8, reaching much further than the two of them playing solo Ryu.
