Tag Tournament), known as Stand By Me, amiibo in PAL regions, was an Event Tourney that ran from 6 a.m. on January 10, 2020 to 6 a.m. on January 13, 2020 (UTC). During the event, all matches were Team Battles with amiibo teammates.

Trivia
- This was the first Online Tourney event to feature team battles, as well as allow amiibo to participate.
- Dark Samus, Richter and every character in Fighters Pass 1 and 2 had their amiibo released after the tournament's first run so weren't available as amiibo teammates.
- amiibo not at level 50 wouldn't level up, like most online modes.[3]
- Despite players being unable to Taunt, the amiibo still could.
