TriviaEdit

  • Not counting Terry and Kazuya (as they were not released during the event), Charizard is the only fighter with a weight value over 106 to not be an available fighter for the event. This is most likely due to it being a part of a composite character, Pokémon Trainer, who has the lightweight Squirtle and the middleweight Ivysaur on his team.
  • The heaviest characters (aside from Charizard) to not be included in this tournament are Snake, R.O.B. and Banjo & Kazooie.
  • Ça envoie du lourd, the French name for this event, is a pun. It can also be translated as "It's a heavyweight!"
