Glutonny is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Wario player from France who is widely considered the best player in Europe and the best solo Wario player in the world after Tweek relegated the character to a co-main. He is currently ranked 1st on both the French Ultimate Power Rankings and European Smash Rankings, as well as 8th on the Fall 2019 PGRU.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Glutonny was already a Wario main and was considered as a prodigy and the best Wario in Europe. Glutonny had notable wins over players such as Ally, Leon, Kaos, Bjay, cyve and Bloodcross.
In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, he also played Wario, and was considered the best Smash 4 Wario player in the world. Throughout the Smash 4 tournaments he had attended, he has taken sets off of players such as ANTi, kameme, Fatality, Marss, Darkshad, Nietono, Pink Fresh, Elexiao, and Ixis. Glutonny is currently ranked 1st on the French Smash 4 Power Rankings, 2nd on the European Smash 4 Power Rankings, and 70th on the Panda Global Rankings 100.
Glutonny joined his first eSport structure, orKs Grand Poitiers, on April 27th, 2018[1] but they parted ways on January 18th, 2019[2]. On January 29th, 2019, the #1 WebTV in France, Solary picked up Glutonny as their first Smash Bros. player[3].
Tournament history
Brawl
Glutonny first started to attend tournaments in 2009, at the age of 13. Due to his young age, he was unable to attend events alone, and would travel with his brother, Karma. They often teamed in doubles, and were dubbed the newcomers.
Despite his age, he became one of the best players in Europe. For his first regional tournament at Bushido Impact 8, he became the first Wario player to place top 8 at a French Brawl tournament. He 3-stocked Leon, the best Brawl player in France at that time, twice during the tournament, and would ultimately finish in second place, losing to Kaos in Grand Finals. From then on, Glutonny would consistently place in the top 3 at French tournaments.
On a national level, he gained international recognition for defeating Ally, the second-best player in the world at that time, twice to claim victory at Bushido Brawl Impact in 2010. However, he would only made one appearance outside of his country - SKTAR in 2012 - where he would place a respectable 17th. Due to his infrequent appearances at a national level, he was not ranked on any iteration of the SSBBRank.

Ultimate
Glutonny returned to Ultimate with an even stronger presence, notably six entire regionals in a row without ever being eliminated from a tournament. Although he initially had more modest starts, such as placing 17th at GENESIS 6, he has since accumulated far greater runs, such as 2nd at Stunfest 2019, winning Albion 4, and rampaging to an astounding 3rd place at EVO 2019. He would continue his dominance in Europe, winning almost every tournament there, including Syndicate 2019 and Valhalla III. He would enter 2020 with a promising 17th at Frostbite 2020.
Playstyle
Glutonny utilizes Wario’s Bike with great proficency in Brawl, being resourceful as a tool to break camping and as one of his main setups for combos. Glutonny is able to play quite evasively in order to charge Wario Waft, which is supplemented with Wario’s hefty endurance to make both positives as either swindles to reverse momentum or as wincons.
In Smash 4, Glutonny emphasizes much more on Wario’s defensive capabilities, especially on Bike’s quick respawn time, enabling him to escape from opponent’s attacks or break through camping. Glutonny mixes this with Wario’s more powerful attacks and unpredictability.
Ultimate’s changes allows Glutonny to be much more flexible with Wario’s kit, using the universal jumpsquat benefit to the fullest extent, granting Wario an even more formidable aerial presence. The array of grounded moves enables him to be an extremely threatening offensive wallbreaker, while using Waft’s even greater power to maximize Wario’s vast utility options.

Trivia
- Glutonny's tag is occasionally misspelled as Gluttony due to that spelling being a common word in English. His tag is actually a broken English variation of this word, as his tag has the same amount of Ts and Ns as "Gloutonnerie", the french translation of "Gluttony".
- His tag is named after the Fullmetal Alchemist character Gluttony (a personification of the deadly sin itself), and how his main Wario is gluttonous.
- He has never lost a tournament he has entered in Europe against a European player so far in Ultimate.
- He also has only lost four European tournaments: Stunfest 2019, the weekly Smash4Glory #6, Ultimate Fighting Arena 2019, and VCA 2019, only placing 2nd to Shuton and MkLeo three times.
- On August 25th 2019, Glutonny was issued a bounty on his head: the first French, Belgian or Swiss player to eliminate him from a tournament will earn 1000€ from the president of Solary, his current sponsor.[4] Zaboutine, a League of Legends coach and caster, later added 500€ to the pot.[5]
- The bounty ran until the end of PGRU Fall 2019. As no one from the above-mentionned nations managed to eliminate him, Glutonny himself took the 1500€.
- Glutonny frequently plays secondaries during sets in winners side at European tournaments, and only switches to Wario when he is sent to the losers bracket or when the bracket of Grand Finals is reset.
- Due to his deep pocket of secondaries and his dominance in Europe, a common joke in Europe states that even if a player is the best European player of a character, Glutonny is probably even better.
