The following is a list of all guns used by playable characters as weapons in the Super Smash Bros. series.

Arm Cannon

Samus carrying the Arm Cannon in Ultimate.

The Arm Cannon is Samus and Dark Samus's main weapon. It fires shots of energy that can be charged up, as well as missiles. While Samus's cannon is used in conjunction with her Power Suit, Dark Samus's cannon appears to be a natural part of her body. Mii Gunners can also wield the Arm Cannon as part of the costume based on Samus.

Blaster

Fox carrying the blaster in Ultimate.

The blaster is an energy-firing pistol shared between Fox, Falco and Wolf. Fox and Falco's blasters have identical appearances, but function differently: Fox's blaster rapid-fires red lasers that don't flinch opponents, while Falco's fires slower, blue lasers that cause opponents to flinch. Wolf's blaster has a unique design, with a small bayonet below its barrel. Its fire is green in Brawl and purple in Ultimate; while even slower than Falco's, the shots do considerable damage.

Mii Gunners can also wield the Fox's Blaster as part of the costume based on Fox.

Peanut Popgun

The Peanut Popgun trophy in SSB4.

The Peanut Popgun is Diddy Kong's wooden pistol, which can fire peanuts that damage opponents.

Paralyzer

Zero Suit Samus carrying the Paralyzer in Ultimate.

The Paralyzer is Samus's secondary weapon when she is without her Power Suit. It is not as powerful as the Arm Cannon, but as its name implies, it can be used to paralyze opponents, neutralizing them for a short period of time.

Mega Buster

Mega Man using his Mega Buster in Ultimate.

The Mega Buster is Mega Man's most basic weapon, an arm cannon which fires shots of energy. Mega Man can use the Buster while standing, walking, and jumping; it can also be charged to fire a more powerful shot. When using the Variable Weapons System, the Mega Buster can also adapt to fire other kinds of projectiles. Either of Mega Man's hands can transform into Mega Busters, though using both simultaneously causes him to overheat, requiring him to cool down afterwards.

In addition, MegaMan Volnutt, MegaMan.EXE and Star Force Mega Man's also use weapons known as Mega Busters, though they are different from Mega Man's. Mii Gunners can also wield the Mega Buster as part of the costume based on MegaMan.EXE.

Love Is Blue and Scarborough Fair

Bayonetta carrying the Love is Blue in Ultimate.

Love Is Blue is a set of four magic pistols in Bayonetta 2. It fires an endless supply of enchanted bullets, never running out of ammunition. The set is named after a French song from the 1960s. The four guns are individually named after musical terms: Prelude, Minuet, Toccata, and Nocturne. In Smash, Bayonetta uses Love Is Blue as her default weapon.

When using Bayonetta's costume based on original Bayonetta, Love Is Blue is replaced with Scarborough Fair, with no difference in function. Scarborough Fair is named after a traditional ballad; its individual guns are named Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme, after the lyrics to the ballad.

Splattershot

Inkling carrying the Splattershot in Ultimate.

The Splattershot is Inkling's main weapon, a gun that exclusively fires ink. Resembling a plastic water gun, the Splattershot is the most basic Shooter weapon available in Splatoon. Mii Gunners can also wield the Splattershot as part of the costumes based on Inklings.

Mii Gunner guns

The standard gun in Ultimate.

Mii Gunners can use many different guns (and other similar weapons), depending on their outfit:
