Operation Desert Smash III (abbreviated ODS3) was a national Super Smash Bros. tournament held by Daniels in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on July 13th-15th, 2018. Much like in the first two tournaments, all players were housed at Daniels' place for the weekend. Many side events were also hosted alongside the main singles and doubles events. The event was originally planned for September 8th-10th, 2017, but was later postponed to it's current date. The singles tournament featured 8 pools with 6-7 players with the first 3 competing in a single elimation bracket for the title.
