IBP Masters Showdown is an ongoing Super Smash Bros. for Wii U national tournament being held on November 11th-12th, 2017 in Santa Ana, California. It features top-level players such as MkLeo, Mr.R, KEN, Ally, and Larry Lurr. A pot bonus was provided by eSports Arena.
This tournament stirred up some controversy as the huge pot bonus combined with the clash of multiple tournaments at such short notice made some tournaments like Tipped Off 12 have poor attendance, simply because of the conflict this tournament brought. The tournament organizer of Tipped Off 12 sold his house to allow himself to run finacially.
