Notices
The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Formatting[edit]

In your recent edits you've been adding spaces in seemingly random places, such as double single-quotes ('') and colons (:). What is the reason for this? --CanvasK (talk) 17:41, May 17, 2021 (EDT)

Hi, sorry about that. I'm using Grammarly, and I thought it was a mistake that it wasn't put there. I'll remove them. Nate0514 (talk) 17:44, May 17, 2021 (EDT)

Also, how do I contact a bureaucrat? I would like to change my username. Nate0514 (talk) 17:50, May 17, 2021 (EDT)

Grammarly is strongly discouraged when editing because of how it doesn't pick up competitive terms. If you want to contact a bureaucrat, here's a list of them; make sure to choose one that's active. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 17:59, May 17, 2021 (EDT)
(edit conflict)For future reference, we've had cases of other users using grammar tools to make edits and it does not work very well. There is a lot of terminology that is used in Smash that is not used in day-to-day life, and thus those tools will make mistakes. Similarly, we use both American and non-American English, so sometimes the tools will switch them and edits like that are frowned upon. I would refrain from making edits that Grammarly suggests if they are going to be purely grammar changes.
For name changes you can go here and navigate to one of the active bureaucrat's talk page. Click "new section" at the top, ask for a rename, say the name you desire, they will respond at some point. --CanvasK (talk) 18:00, May 17, 2021 (EDT)
