| The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
| When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

"Melee vs Brawl"[edit]
If the intent is to turn this into an article later, I don't think it's a good idea. We already have a paragraph in the "Reception" section of the Brawl page that covers it, and I feel that having a whole article on it is a little much. It would also give precedent to a "Melee vs SSB4" article later, which I think would be even less useful. Toomai Glittershine

- The Brawl article hardly covers it in detail, and I think the Melee vs. Brawl debate is so important to the community that it deserves its own article. Also, Melee vs Smash should be created if people's arguments over it become a big part of the community. Awesome Cardinal 2000 08:21, 24 June 2014 (EDT)
