Howdy, there. I am Dark Mai Valentine, an American smasher. I am not a competitive person; I make it a habit to pound the daylights out of the Legend of Zelda characters, which by the way, is the primary reason I play these games. Today, I play Smash Bros. far less often (which is not to imply I stopped playing Smash altogether) in favor of testing my hand at Tekken, a series of fighting games I've played since 1999-2001.
Style
The primary reason I play Smash Bros. is to irrationally beat up the Legend of Zelda characters. In the games, I pummel opponents four times before throwing them; I use slow, powerful moves much more freely than competitve smashers; I stop fighting to avoid cars in Onett (which is the stage I usually play on). The rules I enforce are similar to competitive play, except I play on Onett (Melee only), Temple, Shadow Moses Island, and Mushroom Kingdom (SSB64 only).
Trivia
- I also play Mario Kart, Mario Party, Tekken, and other various fighting games (with the exception of the latter genre intended for mature audiences, if you will).
- I never play 1-P modes in Smash Bros.
- I also like to enable items (mostly Pokeballs) to make things more entertaining sometimes.
