The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Sacred Arrow (セイクリッドアロー, Sacred Arrow) is Mythra's Final Smash.
Overview[edit]
Mythra summons Rex, who says "Mythra, now!" (やるよ,ヒカリ!, Let's do it, Hikari!) and performs an underhand slash to transition into a cutscene. In the cutscene, Mythra says "Concentrate, Rex." (集中して,レックス, Stay focused, Rex.), and she and Rex hold the Aegis Sword together and point it into the sky to summon a beam of light, shouting the move's name. Transitioning into normal gameplay, they point the Aegis Sword forward to rain smaller beams of light from the sky down onto the opponents, whilst Rex says "And, strike!" (行け!, Let's go!), before they fire a light beam from the sword to finish the move. The location in which the beams of light are fired is proportional to the location of the trapped opponents. Compared to Pyra's Burning Sword, Mythra's Sacred Arrow deals much higher total damage and has more horizontal coverage, but has lower KO potential.
Up to three opponents can be trapped into the cutscene; if no opponents are hit, the move fails.

Rain down arrows from above at the opponent Rex strikes. This Final Smash has less launch power than Pyra's, but it deals high continuous damage in a wide area. |
Origin[edit]
In Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Sacred Arrow is Mythra's Level 4 Blade Special. The move's animation in Smash is a recreation of its animation in battles in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. While in the original game, Sacred Arrow could not be used indoors, the move has no such limitation in Ultimate for balance purposes.

Trivia[edit]
- Burning Sword, Sacred Arrow, and Final Blaster are the only Final Smashes that start off with a cinematic but end in-game. The opposite holds true for Infernal Climax.
- Along with Petey Piranha, these are also the only Final Smashes from DLC characters in Ultimate to contain non-cinematic elements.
- Masahiro Sakurai showed an early version of Sacred Arrow in a YouTube video, notably with Mythra holding the Aegis Sword much lower. The angle was raised to not look like she is impaling opponents.[1]
