The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Solaris is a Samus player from Canada. He is currently fifth in the Edmonton Melee Power Rankings, and has attended several regional tournaments including ADAT, CT4, You.Three, and ADAT2, as well as the nationally recognized CAST4.

Melee

Solaris is known for swiftly converting to Melee shortly after reaching third on Alberta's Brawl Power rankings, seeing Brawl's metagame as stale and unrewarding. At first, his progress in Melee was static: frequently he placed poorly at many small tournaments. However after getting a taste of various professionals at CAST4, he started to pick up the pace, placing 13th. Since then he is steadily improving, partially due to the highly active smash scene in Alberta.

In addition, Solaris attended CT1 with his brother at the age of ten, teaming with FastFox.

Solaris and Mach5 are in a rivalry for the best Samus player in Alberta.

Brawl

Solaris has essentially quit Brawl, although he still attends tournaments for fun, solely using Samus. His playstyle is known to be extremely obnoxious, often letting the timer run to zero or excessively grabbing the ledge just under the legal planking limit.
