Frostbite 2017 was a national Super Smash Bros. for Wii U tournament held in Ann Arbor, Michigan, that took place on February 25th-26th, 2017. This tournament had top level talent such as ZeRo, MkLeo, Nairo, Dabuz, Abadango, Ally, komorikiri, Salem, Ranai, Kameme, VoiD, and others. It was also the first time that Japanese players Shuton and T attended a major tournament in the United States. A North America vs. Japan crew battle was also hosted. PG Key to Frostbite 2017 was a qualifier for this tournament and was won by Cosmos, who was unable to attend. Zage, the runner up, was flown out in his place. This sparked a bit of controversy, as Zage was largely inconvenienced by the whole ordeal. Upon his arrival, he expressed his frustration by running up on stage and shouting "I'm not even supposed to be here today!" Disappointed in Zage, Cosmos responded to his claim by stating "Oh, fᥙck you! Fᥙck you, pal! Jesᥙs, there you go, trying to pass the buck; I'm the source of all your misery! Who closed the store to play hockey? Who closed the store to go to a wake? Who tried to win back his ex-girlfriend without even discussing how he felt with his present one?! You wanna blame somebody? Blame yourself! ｴ'𝓶 ɳσ𝜏 ҽʋҽɳ ടᥙρρσടҽԃ 𝜏σ ßҽ ԋҽɾҽ 𝜏σԃαყ, you sound like an asshole! Jesᥙs, nobody twisted your arm to be here! You're here of your own volition! You like to think the weight of the world rests on your shoulder, like this place would fall apart if Zage wasn't here. Jesus, you overcompensate for having what's basically a monkey's job. You push fᥙcking buttons! Anybody can waltz in here and do our jobs! You're so obsessed with making it seem so much more epic; so much more important than it really is. Christ, you work in a convenience store, Zage; and badly, I might add! I work in a shitty video store, badly as well. You know, that guy Jay's got it right, man.
