- Support. Definitely could come in handy (and could've, in the past) in several cases. And yes, I'm referring to the admin demotion back in June (I'll leave it that, if you know you know).Awesomelink234, the Super Cool Gamer (talk) 13:34, March 9, 2021 (EST)
- Support seeing as how there actually has been a recent case where an admin had to be demoted, it makes sense for an official means of doing so to be implemented. Alex the Weeb 13:37, March 9, 2021 (EST)
- Support. I really see no reason to oppose this. The wiki has been lacking a proper demotion process for the longest time. Señor Mexicano (talk) 13:39, March 9, 2021 (EST)
- Support. A rare occurrence but the fact that we had some controversial admins in the past as well as a referendum on another one time when I was active on here, I think this is a good counter measure against such bad admins. MHStarCraft 13:44, March 9, 2021 (EST)
- Support since we need a form of power check. CookiesCreme 13:52, March 9, 2021 (EST)
- Support This will be nice to have if we ever need it in the future and a proper demotion process has been wanting for a long time. VoqéoT 14:11, March 9, 2021 (EST)
- Supper This was long overdue. S3AHAWK (talk) 14:48, March 9, 2021 (EST)
- Support Seeing as I thought this was a good idea years before it became necessary... TheNuttyOne 15:19, March 9, 2021 (EST)
- Support Both instances in which this could have been used show the importance of having such a procedure in place before it becomes necessary. DekZek 16:47, March 9, 2021 (EST)
- Support: I've been an outspoken advocate for the need of such a process for a long time, though for that long time the wiki could keep kicking the can down the road, as the admins of the Wikia days this could have been used on back in the day were automatically stripped of the rights during the move and none bothered trying to get their powers back, while when the dispute between me and Miles happened, it ultimately just fizzled out with nothing of serious consequence happening. Now after the wiki has experienced firsthand why having such a procedure is necessary, we should get this codified, rather than again going through a sloppy and shoddily documented ad hoc procedure. Hopefully though, this is something we'll never have to use again. Omega Tyrant 21:17, March 9, 2021 (EST)
- Support: As much as I hope we never have to use this, this is definitely a vast improvement over the first RfD proposal, and I'd feel much more comfortable having it and not needing it than needing it and not having it. Disaster Flare (talk) 23:43, March 9, 2021 (EST)
