Tournaments received as many entrants as other accepted PR regions such as Saigon. Notability rules currently listed on the Notability page currently do not have guidelines for tournaments or rankings. Cyber (talk) 21:53, May 12, 2020 (EDT)

(edit conflict) The difference is that Saigon's scene is much smaller than West Virginia's, and as such does get a bit more leeway.
To be honest, I gave it a bit more thought and I feel like this can probably barely count as notable, however since we don't have written tournament guidelines it's really rough to place. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 21:59, May 12, 2020 (EDT)

The tournament series is not limited to West Virginia and multiple of the ranked players are not residents of the state. We have many players who compete from around the globe including players from Italy and Mexico. Cyber (talk) 22:02, May 12, 2020 (EDT)

In the end, it comes down to notability. We can't have every single tournament/PR that ever happened listed on the wiki, or it would be pretty disastrous, and it's made worse by the fact that the wiki doesn't have guidelines for tournament notability yet. That's something we'll have to get to within the next few months tbh. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 22:05, May 12, 2020 (EDT)

I see where you're coming from but I feel that if a tournament series is open to anyone and is able to draw in players from multiple countries it would at least barely count as notable and serves the wikis purpose of showing a more general picture of the competitive scene Cyber (talk) 22:13, May 12, 2020 (EDT)

Not really. Say that there is a 10 person online tournament. Each person is from a different country, but aren't notable players. Should that tournament be added because it has diverse attendance? Low attendance without much top players is generally a sign of no notability, which is why tournament trackers like SmashResultsEU and Smashdata.gg have an attendance limit for tournaments they report. Support the deletion, this has been here for like one and a half month already and due to how little notable players are in this ranking, I would say this article shouldn't exist. Grand Dad.png NPM🐷 Morr!? NaughtyPigBoi.jpg 09:12, June 25, 2020 (EDT)
Support: None of the listed tournaments have more than 35 entrants. Almost all Smash at Xanadu tournaments have double the amount of the entrants these weeklies have. There isn’t a single WWR player in the attendee list from what I’ve seen. A number of PR players have...okay?...results for some off/online tournaments, but none of them have made placings that would fit in “notable”. MemeDedede (talk) 11:29, June 25, 2020 (EDT)
Support Pretty much zero notability by wiki standards. Online rankings aren't allowed anyways beyond three specific ones as per SW:NOTABLE. Señor Mexicano (talk) 00:34, July 15, 2020 (EDT)
