The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Is this page really necessary?

Yes.--Janitor 23:49, November 20, 2007 (EST)
Shouldn't we move this to side smash, since it doesn't have to be a forward direction? 76.117.12.143 15:20, 14 June 2011 (EDT)
- "Forward smash" is used by the community a lot more than "side smash", so that's why it's here instead of there. Toomai Glittershine
The SMASH-GINEER 16:33, 14 June 2011 (EDT)
- Isn't it officially called a Side Smash on the Dojo, though? 76.117.12.143 21:53, 11 September 2011 (EDT)
- Yes but SmashWiki is not official. Toomai Glittershine
The Chilled 21:57, 11 September 2011 (EDT)
- Also keep in mind you're always smashing in a forward direction when using a "side smash". 22:27, 11 September 2011 (EDT)

Peach and Daisy[edit]
In Ultimate, Peach and Daisy choose their weapon by angling the move (up for frying pan, no angle for golf club and down for tennis racket). Shouldn't they be listed as being able to angle the forward smash in Ultimate? Hitbox Enthusiast Zeck (talk) 14:40, February 20, 2020 (EST)
- They should. I edited it now.
