Trivia

  • In Japan, the Vega Stage theme is referred to as "Balrog Stage". This is because the characters of Vega, Balrog, and M. Bison had their names swapped during localization of Street Fighter II.
  • The day before the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Direct, the YouTube video for the Galaga Medley got renamed to "Bloody Tears / Monster Dance" for a brief period of time, before it got changed back.
    • The names of the videos for Gang-Plank Galleon onward are numbered based on the order they were released, starting with 12, presumably due to the above incident.
      • Gang-Plank Galleon, however, was not the twelfth song to be added to the site; it was the thirteenth.
  • The name for the YouTube video of the Mega Man 4 Medley keeps its Japanese name, while every song before Gang-Plank Galleon uses its English name.
  • The samples for Bloody Tears / Monster Dance, Gang-Plank Galleon, and Fortress Boss all start in the middle of the song, as opposed to the beginning, like the rest of the tracks.
  • The three versions of the Main Theme are the only samples to showcase the full song; the others fade out after roughly a minute.
  • On international versions of the Music section of the site, composer Masafumi Takada's name was mistranslated as Masashi Takada, an otherwise unrelated Japanese actor, in the credits for Afternoon on the Island. The blog update used the proper name, and the error was later fixed.
  • Likely to not leak the inclusion of Incineroar, Battle! (Wild Pokémon) was uploaded on the day of the November Smash Direct, rather than the usual Tuesday, which itself had a fighter update for Rosalina & Luma.
    • While Bloody Tears / Monster Dance released on Wednesday rather than Tuesday, it was a delayed release rather than being replaced by something else, as there was a later update on Wednesday evening separate from the music track.
