Redirects
2 things: 1) When tagging capitalization redirects, make sure that the redirect that corresponds with the target page's capitalization scheme is kept (e.g. "Short hopping" over "Short Hopping" because the page is called "Short hop"). 2) A minor thing but it does slow me down, when tagging a redirect for deletion, please do it above the redirect line. This keeps MediaWiki from automatically redirecting me to the target page from the speedy delete category. Thanks! Serpent King 22:39, 25 June 2016 (EDT)
Making tournament pages
First off, I think there may be something wrong with your archive links, so you might want to check that out.
Secondly, I'm glad you're making tournament pages, but can you make sure they're formatted properly? They should have an opening sentence or two and you should try and fill out as much of the infobox as possible, if you can find the info. John PK SMAAAASH!! 10:28, 27 June 2016 (EDT)
Socks
I'd really prefer that socks get reported ONLY if they become an actual problem. Yeah the policy says that there can be only one account per user, but if we go through and try to detect all the possible sock accounts (even ones that have been inactive for years), we are just stirring the pot for no reason. Serpent King 12:18, 5 July 2016 (EDT)
Sock account
Please do not make sock accounts. You should know better. Serpent King 17:08, 9 July 2016 (EDT)
There are only 2 cases in which socks are acceptable: Bots, and lost password cases. Yours does not fall in either category, ergo it's not allowed. Serpent King 19:23, 9 July 2016 (EDT)
- Also I think it's pretty damn hypocritical that you go and report all of these potential socks that were not an issue (I am almost positive that most of those were simply lost password), then you go and make one yourself. Serpent King 19:25, 9 July 2016 (EDT)
Creating pages
I am going to have to ask you to stop creating pages with so little content on them. If you are going to create a page, please actually spend some time doing the research and formatting things appropriately. We have no use for these half baked pages. Serpent King 21:43, 12 July 2016 (EDT)
You don screwed up.
I took what I didn't have from your CSS and put it in mine, and when I did it removed the green bar containing my main pages, and removed the green from text. What happened? Ganonmew, The Evil Clone 23:41, 5 August 2016 (EDT)
- Can you screenshot me the difference? Maybe I can help Serpent King 23:45, 5 August 2016 (EDT)
- Don't know how. Ganonmew, The Evil Clone 23:47, 5 August 2016 (EDT)
- ...actually, I think I might. Ganonmew, The Evil Clone 00:02, 6 August 2016 (EDT)

Steel Kangaroo
Okay, I had severe doubts about this article, and I just looked it up and I'm not finding much on Smashboards nor is there anything linked on here. Do you have anything else to help prove this smasher's notability? Because otherwise, I'm deleting it. Disaster Flare (talk) 18:45, 7 September 2016 (EDT)
- 7th in Colorado Poultry(talk) the God-Slayer 18:57, 7 September 2016 (EDT)
- Mhm, I'm gonna need a source on that. The fact that there's literally nothing on this guy on SW is already a pretty big blow as is, and like I said, there's barely anything noteworthy from a Smashboards search. Disaster Flare (talk) 18:58, 7 September 2016 (EDT)
Mains
If the player isn't notable for a playing a specific game in the series, don't add their mains for that game. Thanks. Serpent King 20:01, 9 September 2016 (EDT)
- Since when did Nintendude play SSB4, Revan play SSB4 or Melee, UnReal play Melee, Star King play SSB4, and so on, I do my research, they played early brawl in 2008, and actually got pretty decent results, Lovage even beat DSF before, Poultry(talk) the God-Slayer 20:15, 9 September 2016 (EDT)
- I will provide results Poultry(talk) the God-Slayer 11:24, 10 September 2016 (EDT)
Look
I know that you have been here for a while now and you have some credibility with the tournament scene, but that does not make you above our rules. The deal is that results and mains and whatever have to be proven, especially in the notable players sections. If you fail to understand that, I will be left with no choice but to take action. Consider this a warning. Serpent King 18:48, 15 September 2016 (EDT)
Heads and character links
When you are linking to a character page (or using the head template) please link to the exact name of the page (e.g. Captain Falcon as opposed to CaptainFalcon). Serpent King 18:22, 2 October 2016 (EDT)
Results tags
I'd been meaning to talk to you about this for a while because to be quite honest, it's annoying me a little bit. It's fine to add results tags to articles and all, but there are problems with you doing it that I'm seeing:
- You tend to add the tag, citing only a certain game without providing any sources that they actually play the game seriously enough for it to be listed on their articles
- With the above in mind, it's quite clear that you know what results need to be added (especially since a couple times you've mentioned "you found results" in the results tags), yet you tag them anyway and move on.
I'm kindly asking you to please refrain from doing these from now on. The first issue I pointed out makes it quite troublesome to have to constantly revert your edits, and the second issue is just plain unfair. If you know what results need to be added, you really should add them yourself. Tagging the article and then moving on only comes off as lazy to the eyes of other users. I understand that sometimes people can be pretty busy, but even the busiest of people can make time. Basically what I'm trying to get at is if you don't have time at that time, then maybe bookmark those results and then add them yourself later when you do get free time, instead of adding more piles of work to make others do. In a project like this requiring collaboration, not doing your part will only make things harder for the rest of the community, which are already working their hardest on other things, which is why I'm doing the best I possibly can despite how little time I tend to have. That's really about all I have to say at the moment, so I'll leave you to your business now. Thank you for your time, and please keep what I said in mind. The more people actually working together, the quicker we can get our excess workload done. Disaster Flare (talk) 23:49, 3 October 2016 (EDT)
A possible error?
So you made this smasher's page, but did you mean to include the TGC 8 result? Did TGC 8 even have Melee? John PK SMAAAASH!! 11:13, 3 December 2016 (EST)
Alrighty
You've been warned about this before, this will be your last warning. Please stop with the zero effort smasher pages. They are non-beneficial to our project and only make it look worse than it already did. Smasher pages should have:
- A decent info box (aliases, image, mains, skill, location).
- A substantial intro paragraph, not just "He's a Melee Falcon main from Canada" or something. Actually go into depth like the other smasher pages.
- You've usually been ok here, but a few results.
Thanks! Serpent King 22:22, 27 December 2016 (EST)
Subpages
I know you say you want your subpages deleted, but do you still want to keep your css? Disaster Flare (talk) 17:36, 23 June 2017 (EDT)
- Ahh, yea save that, i grew fond of it Poultry(talk) the God-Slayer 17:39, 23 June 2017 (EDT)
- Alrighty. Anything else I should save? Anything super important like drafts we need I can just move into my userspace, and if I ended up deleting something you wanted to keep, I can easily restore it for you. Disaster Flare (talk) 17:40, 23 June 2017 (EDT)
