DreamHack Austin 2017 is an upcoming national tournament which will take place on April 28th-30th, 2017 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas. It will be the first time a DreamHack event will feature tournaments for both Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and is the first event in the DreamHack Smash Championship 2017 season, a series spanning events in North America and Sweden and featuring $100,000 in prize money in total.
