Brood (ブルード, Brood) is a smasher from the Kantō region of Japan that mains Olimar in Brawl and Duck Hunt in SSB4. He traveled to the U.S. to participate in Apex 2010 with fellow Japanese players Earth, RAIN, and Suinoko. After losing to Chibo, he placed 2nd in his pool. He then proceeded to defeat players such as Ally and Lee Martin in winner's bracket before losing to DEHF in winner's finals. After defeating Mew2King in loser's finals, he lost again to DEHF in grand finals, placing 2nd. During his stay, Brood placed 2nd at First Down Last Stand, losing to ADHD in both winner's finals and grand finals.
In Smash 4, he notably sent ZeRo to losers and Eliminated Zinoto at GENESIS 4.
Brood is currently ranked 47th on the JAPAN Power Rankings.
