Kamemushi, sometimes abbreviated as Kameme, is a Japanese smasher. He is the best Mega Man player in Japan and one of the best in the world (along with ScAtt), having taken sets off players such as 9B, Komorikiri, Nietono and RAIN. He is currently ranked 1st on the Umebura Smash 4 Power Rankings and 11th on the eSports Runner Japanese Smash 4 Power Rankings. Due to his seemingly out-of-nowhere prowess, as well as consistency in an unpredictable region, he has started to be seen as a top Japanese player. He won a trip to an American Smash tournament for placing 1st at KSB 2016. In his post-victory interview at Umebura 23, Kamemushi declared "I won Umebura just like I will win EVO this July", confirming he will use his travel award to attend the event.
