Kneato is a Tournament Director known for organizing some of Canada's largest events, including the McSmashter series and Summit. Though he lives in Rochester, New York, he is more active in the Ontario smash community, where he attended university in Hamilton.

A number of his tournaments held notable achievements, such as McSmashter 4, for being the largest Melee and Project M tournaments in Canada ever with 255 entrants and 186 entrants, respectively, and for attracting Armada who had never previously attended a tournament in Canada. His tournament Summit was also notable for being the largest Canadian tournament of all time with 391 total entrants.

Kneato is noted to be a staunch supporter of Project M, having events hosted and streamed at his tournaments even after its soft ban by Nintendo.
