Vegetable

Vegetable is Princess Peach's Down B move in SSBM and SSBB. When she does the attack Peach will uproot a Vegetable from Super Mario Bros. 2 out from the ground. Each vegetable has a different expression on its face, and these expressions will determine how much damage will be delivered upon an enemy. There are three varieites of Turnips. Normal, Baby, and "Grandpa". Rarely she'll also bring out a Mr. Saturn, a Beam Sword or a Bob-omb. The vegetable can then be thrown at an enemy, thus inflicting damage. Skilled opponents may grab Peach's thrown vegetables however since the fly fairly slow.

The odds of Peach getting each item are as follows:

Normal Turnip: 2/3, Baby Turnip: 1/6, Grandpa Turnip: 47/300 ,Mr. Saturn: 1/300 ,Beam Sword: 1/300 ,Bob-omb: 1/300

The move is a reference to an ability in Super Mario Bros. 2, where all four character (Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Peach) were capable of pulling vegetables, among other items, out of the ground.
