The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

In the past several months, we've received much much info about Smash 4 gameplay. One question I've been seeking for input for is how many stocks will a competitive SSB4 match have. The developers meant for the game speed to be between Melee (4) and Brawl (3). The problem here is that from my perspetive while the gameplay speed has improved, the pacing of 1v1 matches is pretty much the same as Brawl's, if not worse. (The preceding statement may or may not be biased since the only footage of ssb4 available is people who...suck at this game). This leads me to believe that the average match should have 2 or 3 stocks.

What do you guys think? Chilex (talk) 22:27, 28 August 2014 (EDT)
